Julia Barber
The Principal of the firm, Julia Barber, holds BA and LLB (Hons) degrees. She was born and educated in the United Kingdom and achieved her qualifications through Monash University in Victoria. She commenced her working life in a legal firm in 1978 and has, effectively, 35 years experience in the law.
Julia has worked in the Kimberley region of Western Australia since 1997. Prior to that she travelled throughout outback and remote Australia and has worked and lived with indigenous and non indigenous people from all walks of life.
Julia commenced her legal career in Victoria working with a large firm and gained experience in many different areas of law which she has consolidated and built on over her years in practice. She has consultants both in Victoria and Western Australia and is admitted to practice in the High Court, Supreme Court, District Court, the Family Court and the Magistrates Court. She is a member of the Law Society in Western Australia and the Law Institute of Victoria. The firm has a large number of consultants and barristers, including Queens Counsel and Senior Counsel, ready and able to assist in the timely and high quality provision of legal services.

Rachel McGarry
Rachel moved to Broome with her Husband and children in January 2018. She completed a Bachelor of Laws at Murdoch University in 2009 and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2010. Rachel was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2011.
Rachel practices in a broad range of areas including, wills and estates, commercial law, property law and family law. Rachel personally manages a variety of matters and works closely with clients to pursue the best possible outcomes and understands the need to communicate on a regular basis in order to meet client expectations.
